"Let me take a minute to introduce the newest addition to our great city of Kelowna, Brent Tyler. This guy actually really blew me away...He spent a year of his life (& piles of dough) recording a super high quality album entitled "In Rhythm" with some legit industry people, moved to Kelowna a couple of weeks ago, and has begun to venture into the world of "making it work" in the singer-songwriter world hopefully playing to more sober people. Understanding that this road ahead of him is crawling with obstacles, competition, and an overwhelming amount of noise, he's following his heart and doing what he loves. Not only were his songs insanely strong but he had the vocal & guitar chops of a wild animal - like imagine a rabid badger who could sing like Ray LaMontagne and play guitar like Martin Sexton - it'd be close to that. Welcome to Kelowna Mr. Tyler."

"I worked on a number of occasions with Brent Tyler securing his services for gigs for my corporate clients...From a business standpoint, professional would be the first thing that comes to mind. Secondly, talent – enough said! Although quite the presence at 7’ 0” tall. Brent knows how to move the audience from song to song entertaining groups large or small with his exceptional talent and knows how to read the mood and (in my experience) was able to rock the room and get everyone up on their feet dancing. My last thought pertaining to my experience is with Brent is genuine. Now that I have been to other performances outside of my business, I can confidently say that each and every performance is genuine and Brent brings everything of himself onstage and gives live music (to me) a whole new meaning. Last thing, I own his CD and love it!""

"Brent plays heart felt original songs with a voice as smooth as satin."

"Among other amazing discoveries, stands Calgary based singer/songwriter Brent Tyler, and he stands 7 feet tall, towering above the crowd with his "big love" (a Brent Tyler turn of phrase) for family, fans, and music...Whether the venue is small and intimate or packed with disinterested people, Brent remains gracious and entertaining."

"There’s a lot to be said for the big stadium stage show experience, but for me, the best entertainment can be found round the corner at a local restaurant or bar. Anywhere with room enough for a guy and his guitar. Performing several acoustic sets were Ari Neufeld and Brent Tyler, singing together and individually their voices were incredible with the skills to match on their guitars! Brent Tyler's music has a great acoustic pop feel to it!" Breanne Cancade - 101.5 EZ Rock Kelowna

"Brent Tyler has become a fixture in Calgary Alberta's music scene, playing regular nights at a few of the live music venues around town. His dream, though, is to play all original material and with the release of In Rhythm, his sophomore album, he may just be on his way to his dream. I could see almost any coffee shop, folk oriented venue wanting Brent to play after hearing this album. This well produced album has many gems and a few duds but lets walk through the good points before dwelling on the bad. The album opens with the very bold and lush "Remember Broadway". It has a wonderful build-up, to a great bridge and then brought down nicely again. "Ukelele Lady" has a nice rolling riff that presents one of the best tracks on In Rhythm." “Just a couple weeks back Calgary based singer/songwriter Brent Tyler released his second full length album, “In Rhythm” and then played two very successful album release parties in Calgary and then headed out west to play two more fantastic BC tour dates and then did this little interview with me. I win clearly. Please support independent music and pick up his album “In Rhythm” online or on iTunes! Read more here... www.likefoundlike.com”

“Better Way has been a long time coming but Brent has finally delivered a very impressive album full of original material. His style has a lot in common with that of David Gray and a few other soft spoken musicians that would rather sing about exactly what their heart is feeling than rocking out. Better Way is very introspective and personal but that what seems to trigger the best singer/songwriter material. Not only does Brent appeal to the ladies with his big heart but he also will appeal to the guys with similar emotional experiences. Musicians will not only appreciate Brent’s brilliant songwriting but will be awestruck at the brilliance he shows on the acoustic guitar. Listen to the finger picking on “Pour” and you can’t help but be impressed. Better Way is a great introduction to a very talented songwriter but in order to fully appreciate Brent Tyler you have to see him in a live setting. This is where he really shines. ”
